How to operate the newly purchased conveyor belt joint adhesive and what are the usage tips?

There are currently two commonly used methods for connecting conveyor belts, namely hot vulcanization conveyor belt joints and cold vulcanization conveyor belt joints. When using hot vulcanized joints, it is usually necessary to use a combination of hot vulcanized joint adhesive, core adhesive, and surface adhesive, while cold vulcanized joints generally require a combination of cold vulcanized adhesive and repair strips.
When carrying out conveyor belt joints, the selection of materials is very important, and of course, the on-site operation requirements are also relatively high. Some small details may affect the effectiveness of the entire joint, leading to the occurrence of joint detachment. Today we will take a look at how to operate the adhesive of the conveyor belt joint and what are the usage tips.
Let's first take a look at the cold vulcanization joint
Materials required for cold vulcanization joints: cold vulcanization joint adhesive, with CN layer conveyor belt repair strip
Imported repair strips and adhesives from Germany

Apply cleaning agent to the polished area to remove surface impurities and oil stains;
Apply cold vulcanized adhesive to each layered area, dry it and then apply it again. At the same time, apply adhesive to the bonding surface of the repair strip;
Apply the repair strip to the joint of the conveyor belt and use a compaction roller to press it firmly.
Let's take a look at the hot vulcanized joint again
Materials required for hot vulcanized joints: hot vulcanized joint adhesive, uncured core adhesive, uncured surface adhesive

Layered the joint area of the conveyor belt, and then polish and clean the layered area;
Apply hot vulcanized joint adhesive on the upper and lower layers of the layered part of the conveyor belt, as well as on the top of the core and surface adhesives;
Lay the core adhesive flat on the layered part of the conveyor belt, and then lay the surface adhesive after applying the adhesive evenly on the seam of the conveyor belt;

Use a vulcanizing machine to raise the temperature and pressure on the joint surface (when the temperature reaches 145 ℃, a constant temperature of 40-45 minutes is required). After the time is reached, stop heating. After the vulcanizing machine cools down, remove the vulcanizing machine and use a rubber knife to trim the belt joint. After trimming, the vulcanization is complete.
